Opal Divine was my grand-mother's name. She was a woman who enjoyed good music, good friends, good drink and a good card game. In honor of her we bring to you Opal Divine's Austin Grill. Please enjoy this establishment with the same spirit for which she lived.

Opal Divine's is Going Green!
All three Opal's locations are now wind powered...and that's not just a bunch of hot air!
Opal has teamed up with Austin Energy GreenChoice and will support renewable sources by purchasing energy generated by wind, landfill methane and solar production plants. Learn how you can join in by clicking the image above...
Opal's take-out now utilizes BioMass Sustainable Food Service Packaging!
For cold drinks to go, we're using PLA clear cups and lids. PLA (polyactic acid) corn plastic is made from corn grown in the USA and is an excellent sustainable alternative to petroleum bases plastic. Biodegradable, compostable and sustainable!
All plates, bowls and clamshell to go containers are now made by Bagasseware. These disposable food containers are made from bagasse: paper pulp made from plant fibers. Bagasse is safe for use in the microwave and freezer and is biodegradable, compostable and sustainable.
We are now using Ecotainer paper hot cups for to go coffee and soup. These are paper containers made with PLA lining, making them fully compostable!
We are also to be using SpudWare to go cutlery. SpudWare is made from 80% vegetable starch and 20% soy or other vegetable oils. It is high-heat tolerant, biodegradable and compostable and provides an excellent sustainable alternative to petroleum based plastic cutlery.
Opal's is proud to announce the institution of glass bottle, plastic bottle, and cardoboard recycling program at all three Opal's locations.
